Most every Campbell kit takes and unusual twist or turn in the construction and this is no exception with the roof. Large photo    Ayre's Chair Factory Kit #391 Model as is with parts to complete $100.00 This kit was named after Thomas Ayres who continued to work for Leo for a number of years. Thomas did the photography for the Campbell color catalogs and ad pictures in the model press. I left my model unfinished to be an abandoned factory for now. I saw this diorama while visiting the plant in Durango Colorado a number of years ago.  Norm's Landing (Pier only) Kit #392 sells for $79.02 My model is $125.00 Like many of these kits, I built them not knowing where to place them on the layout. Here is one on the work bench. Hamilton Dinghies Kit #394 Structure is $125.00 The structure was named after Fred Hamilton, the advertising manager of Model Railroader Magazine for many years. This kit also features in the instructions how to repair and single roof with corrugated iron sheet. This is $90.00 I built this over thirty years ago and it's been in several scenes and now with the Abandoned house and it looks like it fits in the neighborhood.   large picture
